Swallowtail

I tried the thumping technique with the swallowtail stamp. I think next time I would thump on more color.

I found this technique on Stampin Connection. You ink your stamp with a light color then you thump your markers like you were playing the drums on the stamp. It adds just a touch of color in places. Husband thumping is only allowed when he doesn’t like a card you have made. LOL

  2. Gorgeous card! I just received this stamp, and I can’t wait to try it out. I just love what you’ve done with it. Thanks for sharing.

I don’t think there’s a rule as to how much you have to “thump”. This is a really lovely card exactly the way you’ve done it.

Great job. I got this stamp and have yet to use it. I just may have to try the thumping on it. Thanks for the inspiration.
